Hi, I'm Lowell, of Lowell Sannes Photography, a portrait photography studio located in Poulsbo, near Seattle, on Washington’s Kitsap Peninsula. I split my work between photographing weddings, high school senior photos, and lifestyle family portraits. I love life and believe its important to document every precious moment and milestone in life through pictures and video. With my creative mix of images, music videos and graphic design, I create imagery that is engaging, emotional, and meaningful.

As a pilot, flying airplanes is also a huge part of my life and gives me a technological knowledge base to that I use to master the latest advances in digital imaging. I find photography is the creative antithesis in my life that balances out the technical aspects and routine of flying 737s. I'm a visual artist to the core. My imagery is my spiritual and creative outlet; a mix of lifestyle, fashion and photojournalism. Ultimately, my goal in my imagery is to evoke emotions and elicit feelings, to create images to be treasured for our lifetime and generations to come. Life is fleeting and I don't want to forget one minute of it.

So what do I do when not taking pictures or flying? I absolutely love spending time with my family. My oldest daughter, Marina does the cutest little dances and is full of spunk and confidence. Our youngest daughter, Juliette's laughter is the sweetest sound in the world and it's incredibly infectious. Their smiles make me smile. My incredibly supportive wife Sarah and I just celebrated 10 years of marriage and I am reminded daily why I marred her. We are so lucky to have pictures to hold on to the memories we make and I'm lucky to have this gift of photography to create my families treasures.
